Bridgerton Season 4 kicked off with a glamorous world premiere in Paris, where the cast and creators celebrated the show’s return to Netflix later this month.

The fourth season ofBridgertonpremiered at the historic Palais Brongniart in Paris on Wednesday night, with stars including Claudia Jessie, Ruth Gemmell, Luke Thompson, Yerin Ha, and Golda Rosheuvel walking the red carpet to cheers from hundreds of fans. The event celebrated the Netflix series’ return later this month and marked a new chapter for the popular costume drama, which has captivated audiences worldwide since 2020.

Based on Julia Quinn’s novels, the series continues to follow the eight Bridgerton siblings on their journeys to find love. Season 4, releasing on Netflix on January 29, focuses on Benedict Bridgerton, the family’s second son, and his relationship with Sophie Baek, a mysterious woman whose true identity as a servant adds intrigue and highlights class differences. The premiere venue was decorated in the show’s signature colours, with a walkway styled as an English garden to enhance the fan experience.

Actor Yerin Ha, who plays Sophie, described the season as “Cinderella with a twist,” a story of forbidden love and social contrasts. The season also explores broader themes including sexual consent, disability, and women’s experiences after menopause. Sophie’s struggles are further complicated by her stepmother, played by Katie Leung, adding tension and depth to the narrative.

The series will release in two parts: the first on January 29 and the second on February 26.
