Bihar STET 2025 Results Announced: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the results for the 2025 State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) on its official website, bsebstet.org. Around 4.42 lakh candidates appeared for the exam, with over 2.46 lakh candidates taking Paper 1 for teaching Classes 9 and 10, and nearly 1.96 lakh candidates appearing for Paper 2 for Classes 11 and 12. The candidate pool included both male and female aspirants across the state.

Bihar BSEB STET 2025 Results Declared: How to Check

On January 5, 2026, the Chairman of the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), Patna, announced the results of the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025 at Sinha Library at 4:15 pm. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check and download their scorecards from the official website,bsebstet.org.

A total of4,42,214 candidatesappeared for the examination. Of these,2,46,415 candidatestook Paper 1, which determines eligibility for teaching Classes 9 and 10 — including1,07,229 women and 1,39,186 men. Meanwhile,1,95,799 candidatesappeared for Paper 2 for teaching Classes 11 and 12, comprising71,178 women and 1,24,621 men.

The STET 2025 was conducted incomputer-based test (CBT) modefromOctober 14 to November 16, 2025, in two papers: Paper I for secondary school aspirants (Classes 9–10) and Paper II for senior secondary school aspirants (Classes 11–12) across Bihar.

After the exams, BSEB released provisional answer keys for both papers onNovember 24, 2025, giving candidates a window to raise objections untilNovember 28, 2025. The board reviewed all valid challenges before finalizing the results.

Candidates can access their results by logging in with theiruser ID and passwordordate of birth. The scorecard will include the candidate’s name, roll number, subject, marks obtained, and qualifying status.

To qualify the Bihar STET:

General category candidatesmust score50%or more.
Reserved category candidates(BC, EBC, SC, ST, PwD, and women) must score between40–45.5%, depending on their category.

It is important to note thatqualifying the STET does not guarantee a teaching appointment. The certificate serves as eligibility for future teacher recruitment conducted by the Bihar government or other authorized bodies. Final selection will depend on merit lists, recruitment notifications, and available vacancies.

Candidates are advised todownload and safely store a copy of their scorecardfor future reference during recruitment and verification processes. Regularly checking the official website for updates is recommended.
