Speculation around casting changes in Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 has been put to rest after Ravi Kishan confirmed that his role in the much-anticipated sequel is an entirely new one. Speaking about the project, the actor expressed excitement at joining the ensemble cast and dismissed rumours suggesting he was stepping in for Boman Irani.
“I am not replacing him. Mine is a new character. The script is amazing, and audiences will see me in a very different avatar,” Ravi Kishan said, reaffirming that the original cast remains intact. Boman Irani, who played a pivotal role in the first film, is confirmed to reprise his character and is scheduled to join the ongoing Delhi shoot from January 8.
Currently being filmed across Delhi, the production schedule is expected to continue for nearly 20 days. Sources indicate that much of the sequel’s story unfolds within a house, echoing the setting and emotional core of the 2006 cult classic while introducing fresh conflicts and characters. Additional portions of the film will be shot in Noida, Gurugram and Connaught Place, subtly expanding the narrative’s canvas.
Rumours of Boman Irani’s absence had surfaced earlier after he was not seen during the initial days of filming, leading to speculation about changes in the cast. The latest confirmation has reassured fans eager to see the return of familiar faces alongside new additions.
With filming progressing steadily, Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 aims to balance nostalgia with novelty, retaining the humour and family dynamics that made the original a beloved hit while exploring new storylines through characters like Ravi Kishan’s.
